Paul Koller and Mikkel Hastrup, responsible for the Commodore 64 port of Super Crate Box (dubbed Super Bread Box), are back at it again with their entry to the 2013 RGCD C64 Cartridge Development Competition, Micro Hexagon. It is, as you probably guessed, a port of Terry Cavanaugh’s sensational Super Hexagon, and available for free with the other fourteen entries made in the event.

After watching this video, I fired up the old emulator and gave it a spin for myself and I’m pretty impressed. It’s as quick and tense as the original, just with chunky pixels.
