How To Find And Defeat Ultima Carver In Fortnite

Ultima Carver is a Halloween boss introduced during Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event. While he doesn’t necessarily have any special attacks, he does have a powerful pumpkin rocket launcher that can catch you off guard. Fortunately, there are several strategies you can use to defeat him.

Ultima Carver spawns in Brawler’s Patch, a region in the southeast corner of the map that was previously known as Brawler’s Battleground. Rather than looking like a smaller version of Mount Olympus, it now had several large pumpkins and vines you can traverse, with Ultima Carver spawning in its center.

Ultima Carver has a unique appearance with his bright orange and pumpkin-like armor. He carries a pumpkin rocket launcher and brown shotgun as his signature weapons, differentiating him from regular players.

How to defeat Ultima Carver in Fortnite

Fortunately for us, Ultima Carver isn’t an all-powerful being that can one-shot you. His main weapon is a pumpkin rocket launcher that deals damage to you and surrounding structures. He’ll also swap to a shotgun if you get close to him, so I’d stay fairly far away if possible. Outside of that, he’s much like a standard enemy with more health and a full shield bar.

With that said, you’ll still want to be careful while fighting him. Having a teammate or squad to help will make the fight much easier, but you can still eliminate him solo. Make sure you have full health, shields, and a weapon before approaching him.

If anything, your biggest threat is other players. Even if you defeat Ultima Carver with full health and shields left over, a player can swoop in and take the loot or get some surprise hits in if you’re focused on the boss fight. Watch your surroundings for other players, and don’t be afraid to detour from the Ultima Carver battle to eliminate a few people first.
