All New World: Aeternum Fresh Start Worlds

New World: Aeternum is a full-fledged relaunch for the MMORPG alongside the console release of the game. As such, all previously existing worlds have been branded Legacy Worlds that will work the same way they had before the Aeternum update. All new servers with New World: Aeternum are called Fresh Worlds and will include all the Aeternum update changes as well as offer a fresh start world new and returning players.

It’s important to note that while you can’t transfer to Fresh Worlds from Legacy Worlds, you can freely transfer between the Fresh Worlds. That way if you start on a Fresh World that later ends up with a low population, or you want to join friends on another Fresh World, you will have the opportunity to do so.

Here are all the New World: Aeternum Fresh Start Worlds:

US East

  • Arctica (High)
  • Cathaysia (High)
  • Cimmeria (Medium)
  • Pangea (High)
  • Rosa (High)

US West

  • Aquarius (Full)
  • Bellatrix (Medium)

AP Southeast

  • Pisces (Medium)

SA East

  • Alkaid (High)

All New World Legacy Worlds

With the introduction of new Fresh Start Worlds, all previously existing servers are now Legacy Worlds. Here are all the Legacy Worlds in New World: Aeternum that you will want to avoid if you are looking for a fresh start experience:

US East

  • Lilith (Low)
  • Maramma (Low)
  • Valhalla (Medium)

US West

  • El Dorado (Low)
  • Isabella (Low)

AP Southeast

  • Delos (Low)
  • Sutekh (Low)

SA East

  • Artorius (Low)
  • Devaloka (Low)

EU Central

It’s highly likely that as New World: Aeternum progresses, some of these Fresh Start Worlds will end up being merged together as populations start to fall post-launch. Also, now that New World is on consoles, players on PC and consoles will be able to play on these worlds together. You can tell which platform a player is on based on the icon next to their name in-game.
