After breaking into the school after hours, Vivian and Amy are almost ready to perform the séance. All they need now is the spirit board locked away in the library. Here’s how to open the library display cabinet in Fear the Spotlight.

Essential Steps to Obtain the Keycard

To access the spirit board, you first need the keycard to unlock the librarian's office. This office is crucial because it contains the key needed to open the display cabinet where the spirit board is stored. The door to the librarian’s office is located to the right of the display case, but it's locked, making it necessary to find the keycard first!

Begin your quest by turning around from the office door and heading towards the front desk. Look for the left side of the desk, close to the printers, where you can crouch down to search behind the front desk counter. You’ll find the keycards stashed inside a box under the computers, so don’t miss this step!

Finding the Display Key

Once you have the keycard, return to the locked office door and use it on the keycard reader. Once inside the librarian’s office, turn right to find the Display Key resting on the desk next to a note. This key is essential for accessing the display cabinet where the spirit board is kept.

While you’re in the office, make sure to grab the inhaler located on the bookshelf. While it's not necessary for opening the display case, it can be a valuable healing item later in your adventure.

Accessing the Spirit Board

Now that you have the Display Key, head back to the display case. Use the key to unlock it, and the spirit board is all yours! It's time to reunite with Amy, so turn around and make your way into the Non-Fiction section of the library. Take a left at the smaller bookshelves near the memorial to enter the Fiction section.

You’ll find Amy sitting at a table near the windows. Once you sit down with her, she will eagerly guide you into the mysterious world of the supernatural. This moment is pivotal as it sets the stage for the adventures to come!
