Cardi B And Offset Buy Their Dream Castle In Atlanta

Cardi B and Offset are the reigning king and queen of hip-hop. And what does every king and queen need? A castle. Well, good news! Because Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzarand) and Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) just bought a home in suburban Atlanta that can only be described as a freaking castle.

Located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, roughly 20 minutes outside of Atlanta, Cardi and Offset showed off their mansion earlier tonight in a series of Instagram videos that set the social media world on fire.

The transaction must have JUST gone down because the property hasn't officially closed in the multiple listing service.

The house was most-recently listed for $5.795 million, but it's not clear how much Cardi and Offset paid. It’s been on the market for 266 days as of this writing, so it’s doubtful they paid full price.

Offset and Cardi currently have a combined net worth of $50 million, with $24 million coming from Cardi and $26 million coming from Offset.

The Luxurious Features of Their New Mansion

With five bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, Cardi and Offset's new 22,000 square-foot house sits on 6 acres. The mansion boasts an impressive array of luxurious features that make it truly unique.

Some of the standout amenities include:

  • An 1,800 bottle wine cellar
  • An infinity pool
  • Marble EVERYTHING
  • A below-ground gun range

These features illustrate the extravagant lifestyle that comes with their success in the music industry!

The Previous Owners and the Home's History

Curious about the previous owners? Cardi and Offset are buying the home from a chiropractor named Dr. Rick Kuhlman and his wife Amanda. Rick and Amanda purchased the lot in 2013 for $1.65 million.

The Kuhlmans spent a whopping $7 million over two years constructing the 22,000 square-foot mansion you see now. They chose the Italian style as an homage to their many trips to Europe, incorporating imported Italian travertine stone on the floors, the same kind used at the Colosseum in Rome.

The Challenges Faced by the Kuhlmans

Unfortunately, times have not always been good for Rick and Amanda. In 2011, Rick pleaded guilty to submitting nearly $3 million in fraudulent insurance claims over a five-year period and was ordered to pay restitution to four insurance companies.

Rick also had to perform nearly 400 hours of community service, which included speaking to medical students about healthcare fraud and providing free chiropractic services to the homeless. However, this wasn't enough to satisfy the courts.

In 2014, a judge reportedly sentenced Kuhlman to 30 months in prison, which might explain why Rick and Amanda listed the home for sale in 2017 for $9.875 million. After several price reductions and attempts to rent the house, they finally found buyers in Cardi and Offset.

What Does This Mean for Cardi and Offset?

This purchase marks a significant milestone in Cardi B and Offset's lives, showcasing their success and ability to invest in luxury properties. The new home not only serves as a residence but also as a symbol of their journey and achievements in the music industry.

As they settle into their castle, fans are left wondering what other exciting ventures await this dynamic duo.
