Today, Michael Jordan's $2.6 billion net worth makes him the #1 richest athlete in the world and the #5 richest celebrity, behind only Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jami Gertz, and Steven Spielberg.

Michael's journey to billionaire status began with his ownership stake in the NBA's Charlotte Hornets.
